Carlos Rodón Reaches 1,500 Career Strikeouts in Major League Baseball!

New York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodón has reached another major milestone in his MLB career, recording his 1,500th career strikeout during September 2026.

The 33-year-old pitcher reached the milestone while continuing an impressive 2026 campaign. Through 15 starts, Rodón has posted a 2.95 ERA and 9.8 strikeouts per nine innings, once again showing the swing-and-miss ability that has been a defining part of his career.

Rodón is a three-time All-Star and also has a no-hitter on his résumé, highlighting some of the biggest accomplishments of his 12-year career. His latest milestone adds another significant achievement to an already impressive pitching résumé.

Since making his MLB debut, Rodón has recorded 99 career wins and a 3.69 ERA, while consistently producing strikeouts during his time with the Chicago White Sox, San Francisco Giants, and New York Yankees.

Reaching 1,500 strikeouts is another reminder of Rodón's longevity and effectiveness on the mound. Despite dealing with injuries at different points throughout his career, the left-hander has continued to establish himself as a prominent strikeout pitcher in the major leagues.
